1 yard of the leather came to €49 which translated into roughly US$57. On top of that was $24 and some change for shipping. For a grand total of 91+ dollars. Then a week later I received a notification from DHL stating I owed an additional $19.99 for shipping, bringing my grand total for 1 yard of leather to about $111. I think that is pretty steep. When I contacted customer service regarding the additional shipping charge, they stated that in my purchase confirmation email there was a paragraph stating any additional charges are the customers responsibility. So my thoughts on this are that this needs to be made known to customers before purchase, not at the very bottom of a confirmation email. As far as the leather goes, I ordered a dark green leather, which was truly lovely and very supple. It will make great golf club covers.
